So by now you should have some idea of what or who Multi Conjures are, and yet I think you might still be thinking of it a little too lightly.
Not that I blame you of course!
The thing is I too didn’t see how bad things are as I began my journey, but they are and so we must not turn a blind eye.
Multi Conjures do not hold the title as citizens of any place, and is not protected by the law. They are not allowed to hold jobs or own any property. Neither are they allowed to be students or masters of anything.
For most they are but rats, living in dark corners getting by on whatever crumbs fall to the ground. And just like rats, no one really cares if you were to kill one.
There is no law against harming Multi Conjures, and some cities even encourage it.
There are however rumors, some planted by the Multi Conjures themselves. Rumors that even touching them will soil and curse your own core, and so those who believe in those things stay clear of the Multi Conjures.
Thankfully not everyone can look into another persons core, and so many Multi Conjures hide their broken cores and pretend to be ‘normal’ powerless humans.
I’m sure you now are wondering how the Seyblides can have a Multi Conjure as a master, and for that I can only say, that is not my story to tell, but I will add a small thing: A law is only a law until someone powerful enough changes it.
